    Sudden surprise growth spurt?!

Hey guys, Im not worried today just really really surprised! Ok so not long ago I was fussing a bit over my baby normal staying at a similar weight for at least 2 months with the possibility of having lost some. Today I know he was saving it all up for a sudden growth spurt! I didn't even know snakes had those!

I dont have the scale right now so I cant check for weight differemce immediately, but as of two weeks ago Chewey my 1 year old male normal looked like this (first picture below, taken July 4th)

After that he became super grumpy no touchy for a while and after that he went into shed. All normal all cool. Yesterday he shed so since its not feeding time yet and last he fed was a while ago, I go pick him up. All the time I can't help but keep saying how big he looks and feels, feeling like Im just acting crazy, but then I take a picture and compare it to last time I had him out and the difference is most definitely there!! Everything looks bigger even his head! Apparently he was super cramped up in his old skin!!(Second picture, taken yesterday)

It's hard for me to tell in the photos, but I know what you mean. Sometimes it seems as if they grew overnight!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
