    Lizard ID Help

    Hi everyone:

Please help me identify this fella.

My husband and my son went to our local children's science museum today, and I was appalled by their animal husbandry. I found this guy labeled as a blue tongue skink. As an owner of a blue tongue skink, I knew it was not labeled correctly. For starters, it had what looked like raised/overlapping scales that were pretty prominent. I took the best photos I could as the poor guy was in his hide.

I am guessing a plated lizard?

Your expertise would be appreciated. The fact that they mislabeled it in a children's educational museum is driving me nuts; I am dying to correct them.

definitely not a lizard expert, but...
definitely NOT a BTS...doesn't appear to be a skink at all...
quick search of the world wide interweb and yeah, looks like a plated to me as well.
