    Tank vs. Rack

I'm a fairly new snake owner, I recently took in my brother's 5/yo BP as he's gone to college and couldn't give her enough time and attention. He had the snake in a tank and I followed the sticky on setting up a 20Gal tank to make sure I set everything up properly. I absolutely love this animal and I think I may want to get another in the future (not anytime soon). So I was just wondering since I am new to this if I were to get another snake in the future, the pros and cons or differences and benefits to having BP's in tanks vs. a rack system. I've read a lot on here and watched some videos on YouTube and it seems like most people do prefer the rack system due to humidity problems with tanks. I wanted to get some opinions from people on here, this seems to be a good site to go to for advice so any information you have would be great!!

If you want to display the animal, tank. If you want the best use of space, rack. Pretty much sums it up.

You can manage humidity easily enough in tanks or vivariums - no problem .

If you have a few I'd use vivs or tanks as their display value is priceless and grossly underestimated in my view - I have 21 snakes and 24 viv setups ..

If you want to have 30 plus and go into breeding than I guess re rubs are the better option - simply to save space like the person above correctly said .

What's the snake in the 3rd picture? the orange one with black stripes. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Don't recall the fancy name but I bought it as a Thai Red Bamboo rat snake although I've seen them sold as Chinese Bamboo snakes as well .
It's my scariest snake and it's only 12" long
