    I still love him.

GF snagged some pics of him on the bed while I was cleaning/rearranging his enclosure. Still mad about those stripped scales on his head and hoping he doesn't do that again.

He's a weird animal, I had the enclosure open while his rodent was thawing just now and he made no attempts to get out.

But at 2:30 AM sometimes you just gotta tap out some MAD beats with the hydrogmeter against the glass and then climb out when they investigate the rave so they can't lock you back in. Then stare. And stare some more. And stare again until they cram you back in. I guess.

Got the GF to take some shots to see if we could discern his eye color.

Definitely not a pure black but seems like a dark, dark greenish brown with some copper bits.

Hate that he stripped the top off some scales but hardly noticeable here. Should be gone next shed, and it looks like he might be starting on one in a week or two.

No shed yet, but guess he got ravenous to shake the seasonal fasting for now.

Shed happened, figured he'd be hungry since it's been almost two weeks and it happened yesterday. Nope. Oh well. Struck hard enough to rip a rodent leg off but didn't get a good latch and now he's a shrinking violet. Gonna leave it on top of his warm hide and see if he goes for it when completely covered. Maybe the fact it snowed today screwed him up. That's Wisconsin for you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Time to go play Odessey with the girlfriend.

Might just start doing once every 2 weeks from here on out unless he's moshing.
