Yes, yes it is. Her art holds a special place in my heart. (As does her Starscream. And every Starscream, to be fair, but. IDW. What a good good nasty boy.)

And thank you very much for the welcome!

Her art is absolutely stunning. I'm bummed she wasn't able to stay on as an artist for IDW, just because I like looking at her work so much.

Current IDW Starscream is trying so hard and so fundamentally damaged. He's a fascinating character and I just want him to succeeeeeeeed. YOU CAN DO IT, DARLING.

Same, I follow her on tumblr just so I can see what she's up to and what she's making right now. That's the good stuff right there lmao.

DANG YES THIS THOUGH. Like, uh, none of the local comic stores sell Transformers comics, so all I get is spoilers from the tags, but YESTERDAY'S ISSUE WAS PAIN and I might have literally cried. M. Scott that was not fair, did you hear me, not fair. (You can do it baby boy I believe in you).

OH CRUD I'M SORRY that is a sore lack. I haven't had a chance to read it yet myself-- my GF reads and collects them and she's out of town-- but I saw the relevant spoiler and just. Ouch. Shot through the heart. STARSCREAM BABY I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LIFE.

Are you as bummed as I am that M.Scott is leaving the series?

I'm just anxious about the whole thing? Like they've done all this beautiful character development, and in Starscream's case he's not exactly a villain anymore, even though he's still trying to think of himself that way. I'm worried that whoever takes on the mantle will just.... revert them all back to default states because that's what the status quo is. And the status quo isn't interesting anymore? It's nice (wonderful even) when things change because that's life? Just. Worried.

(Always have the irrational fear they'll kill Starscream off, too. Like I know they won't because he's such a key character but. They've done it before.)

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Looking forward to your snake day pictures!

And awesome points for Starscream. We all know he's the best character! I was fondly reminded of this comic strip: http://orig09.deviantart.net/74ac/f/...am_by_izra.jpg

But your avatar is probably the best version of him <3
1.0 Ball Python (Mystic Potion) Tapioca
0.1 Northern Pine Snake - Impa
0.1 Russian Rat Snake (Melanistic) Kallari (RIP)

Thank you! The day draws ever nearer.

LMAO what a blast from the past. Don't get me wrong, I love all versions of Starscream, bayverse/tyran in particular being a current fav. (He was once a guardian of hatchlings??? And he met Megatron officially when Megs one-upped him in the protection department?? He looked so put-out by this. Hilarious.)

I love them all. Too hard to pick the best when they're all so great in their own regards.

Yeah, I feel the same, honestly. MScott's got a fairly nuanced take on his character and it's interesting? I don't want to see the next writer reset him to the same boring "lol backstabbing traitor lol" trope. It's overdone. I'm also super bummed that MScott leaving probably means the end of Knock Out and "Breakdown's" relationship; they were important characters to her (AND ME) but I doubt anyone else on the IDW creative team cares.

(Let's be real tho, even if they kill 'Screamer off he'll just REZ AS A SPARKGHOST LOL and come back. Sigh.)

P.S bonus points for casually dropping the Bayverse universal stream designation, ain't nobody uses those anymore.
