    Leachie laid 3 eggs

Our leachie has a clutch each year, last two years she laid 2 infertile eggs (we don't have a male), however this year she had 3! Has anyone seen this before?

I found an article online about a crested that had 3 eggs once (http://www.bcssecretreptiles.com/cre...crested-gecko/) but that is all I have found.

    Thought this was really interesting!

My best guess would be that the third egg is an older egg that was retained but not reabsorbed and went on to fully develop. Glad she didn't have any trouble laying all three eggs.

We wondered if that might be the case, all 3 eggs looked exactly the same however (as in, one didn't look like an older dud or anything). The other two years she laid, she had 2 eggs each time and she's never laid more than one clutch per year.
    Very strange!
We are glad she got them all out and is doing good. Wish she would just stop doing it though!
