    Normal behavior is to move away from poop and not to use urates as a pillow. I don't know what's wrong with this goofball.

    On a positive - he's probably the best eater in the house. I have to be careful opening his tub at night because he will come out like a bat out of hell looking for food.

    He outgrew his old hide, so I changed it the other day. He had been in his warm hide since, but had eaten as well, so I figured just digesting...

    I guess he wasn't digging the new hide because it was too big. I added a little clutter inside the hide and in he went and he's been in there since he went back into his enclosure.

    I guess he was trying to tell me something by not switching hides after he pooped.

    My snakes usually run from their poop or pee. It's easy to tell when they do it as i will see them pacing the front of the cage.
