Re: How to blood scenting ??
Nvr heard of blood scenting working for a bp.. hmmm..
Try bedding scenting. Skip doing the other unless there really is a reason.. I have heard of this method w other species.. essentually it is braining, exposing brain/blood of rat.. kinda gross if U ask me.

Blood scenting is basically braining the dead rodent and my experience has been that it is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Re: How to blood scenting ??
OTOH, I have a snake (spotted python) that eats better if she can smell blood. I don't brain, just give the f/t mouse's head a squeeze to get a little blood out of the nose. Less gory and simpler than braining (which I have done), and sometimes does the trick. Worth a try before braining, IMO.

That's a good point try a bleeding rodent first - until you mentioned it I hadn't realised mine responds with much more enthusiasm to a rodent with blood around the head.
