Feeding response day after being fed?
I noticed this morning, the day after I fed her, she came out of her hide the way she does when ready to eat. I can't really explain the difference but she said out almost into her strike S pose and was tracking my hand like she does with f/t. Some of the supplies use for feeding were out so it's possible she smelled those, but my question is whether the feeding response can be triggered when she's full? Or is she still hungry? I'm still learning and just want to make sure she's not trying to drop a hint she wants another helping lol.

Re: Feeding response day after being fed?
I have a couple of snakes that are still in feeding mode up to 48 hours after eating. After that they'll usually retire to their hot spots for a few days. How large is your BP and how much are you feeding her? Be careful, some snakes are piggish and will eat as much as you'll feed them and you have to overlook that begging.

Re: Feeding response day after being fed?
Sometimes my snakes still have a strong feeding response a day or two after feeding as well. It's normal. Tap training has worked great for me but unless I have to spot clean or something I don't bother them for a couple days after eating

She's about 346g ish last time I weighed her and about 25". Based on her girth I've been feeding her sm rats (40- 50g usually) very 7- 10 days. She's a solid eater, she takes it pretty quick on the first offering once she's on the scent.

Yeah I usually leave her alone for 3 days min. I guess it's possible I missed her doing this before since I do leave her to herself.

My boa is in feeding mode much longer than my BPs. They eat their rat and then go back in their hide and chill. The boa cruises around looking for more food. She can easily stay in feed mode for 24 hours. Not as aggressive as when she is eating but she def is wondering if there is more food coming her way.

Re: Feeding response day after being fed?
My female ball is a picky/tough eater the new male I have has taken his first feeding after a week of having him, but my RTB is always ready to eat. No joke I fed him once and only after he struck did I notice he was still in the process of getting his shed off.
