Officially welcoming Cosmo to the family

So back in early March a friend/coworker asked me if I could help her out with her juvenile hognose...
Apparently the original owner put him on Craigslist because she couldn't get him to eat. She had the snake a while and gave up. So my coworker picked him up and after about 6-8 weeks of no eating asked for my help.
    So I decided to help.

He came to me on March 10, weighing 11 grams and estimated to be over a year old, maybe two.
Well, with the help of our awesome hognose breeder on this forum, Deborah (thank you again, Deborah), I was able to make some husbandry changes and got him eating. He has now eaten 20 meals with me without a refusal, is up to 23 grams and doing really well.

However, his owner has barely been around, has hardly replied to texts/calls and never once came to see him. So, after not seeing her at work for a while I asked my boss what was up. Apparently, she was let go for reasons I won't share.
Well, it's been well over a month and she has disappeared. I hope she's ok and in a good place (I know your struggle KG, be strong and never give up. You're not alone)

So it's a bit bittersweet that I'm welcoming Cosmo to the family. I hope my former coworker is ok, but I'm happy to say Cosmo is doing well in a good home and I've really grown to love this little guy. I had been interested in hognose for a while now and considered adding one. So, maybe it was meant to be...

All that being said, after his first photo shoot, meet Cosmo...

Fantastic job getting him to eat! Truly a labor of love. They have such great personalities. My girl cracks me up when she's grumpy. Cosmo is in good hands now.
