    Normal pied? Or something else?

Just got my first snake yesterday!

The breeder advertised it just as a piebald, which I assumed to mean normal pied. But when I posted pictures yesterday, some people suggested that he didn't look like a normal, because there's no sign of the alien head pattern or anything.

What do you think? I appreciate the expertise!

Another picture, if it helps. (I know it's a little dark. He's more orangey-brown in person, especially towards his belly)

normal pied. The pied gene totally screws with the pattern. This snake is a very typical looking example of a pied.

I've actually never seen a pied that had the "alien head" pattern. Most look very similar to the one you have posted

Thanks! That's what I thought, from looking up other pictures. This other person seemed adamant that it was something different haha.
