Adopted NO has damaged tail
Just acquired this 46" BP today, believed to be a female.
I noticed 2 things today, the tail seemed to be a little damaged, don't know the history of her but when around my knock I hear what I think is a slight wheezing. Doesn't seem constant at every breath but maybe I'm hearing hissing?
Mouth is not open, not even slightly when hearing this.
Thanks

Looks like stuck shed layers that have started cutting off circulation to the tail. That should be soaked and the old skin removed ASAP.
Are there any signs of burns as well?

No other marks, burns or anything anywhere! Just the tail spot.

Re: Adopted NO has damaged tail
Hi,
I actually thought it looked more like a cut/ bite on one side of the tail. I would keep her on a clean substrate ( like kitchen towel or paper ) and monitor it. It looks as if it has started healing already but be careful when she sheds to avoid any complications.
