Anubis and his feeding....I have questions....
So I just fed my BCI on Saturday and hes going crazy as far as attempting to wasn't to eat my finger lol, I'm feeding him fuzzies/furries, what ever is between a pinky and hopper. Should I try feeding him another?

How big is he? Unless he is a runt, he should be able to take hopper mice easily. He's probably hungry. Rango is like that but he doesnt try and bite me but he will follow any movement in his cage and comes out of his hide to follow his water bowl and stuff when i lift it up.
But without knowing the how big he is and how often you feed, it's hard to answer the question. Anything under 1 year old, i generally feed an appropriate sized mouse once every 7-10 days. Then once they over a year old, i usually go to every 10-14 days until they are up to small rats. Then its every 2 weeks. Then when up to medium rats, every 3-4 weeks. Then when up to large rats, every 4-5 weeks. Summer time i tend to give a little extra here and there. Winter time a little less. But i never do winter fasting as some do. My snakes live in pretty much an eternal summer, just some months more food and some months less food.

Unlike most pets, snakes are non-glutinous animals, so he will either take a second helping if hungry, or refuse it if not.

I wouldn't feed him just cause he's being snappy. Being snappy could be for a variety of reasons.
I would up the prey size however, I usually start baby boas on hoppers then move them over to rat fuzzies when they are big enough, one every 7-14 days and then as they eat larger, spread the feedings out more, very similar to what Sauzo is doing.

since snakes are opportunistic feeders, they will easily overeat to their own detriment.

He took the second fuzzy, no problem I think I may move to hoppers.

I would do a hopper mouse every 7 days for him. Then just graduate him mice sizes until he is large enough for weaned rats. Switching a boa is as easy as dangling a rat in front of their face lol. He will probably be ready to switch to rats around the 1.5 year mark.
