    Noticed something odd today

I was taking the bps out for measuring pics and noticed this spot on my male bp' head:

What does that look like to you guys? It is not stuck shed or anything like that....almost looks like dead scales to me. He should be due for a shed around the 13-14th so I will have to keep an eye on it.

Let me know what you think.

Amani has two scales on her head(not close to each other) that look like that. I just figured it to be really stuck on shed and left it alone. Every other shed or so, one or two scales will stay on.

You can always just put a little antifungal cream on it and see what happens. Won't hurt anything. That is, if he'll let you near his head.

Athlete's foot cream will do a good job too, especially if it "is" fungal in nature. If it is, then neosporin won't touch it. Just looks like really stuck on shed.

Daniel, did you superglue shed back onto your snake's head...?

    Re: Noticed something odd today

The reason I don't think it is stuck shed is because it just kinda appeared....I had not noticed it since the last shed. Maybe it just started to look funny...ha...we will see

Yeah, that happens with my little guy, Ashes. It has never harmed him at all, but it is pretty odd when he has an otherwise perfect shed and two little head-scales stay on.
