What do you do with the old skin that snake shed ?
I saw some people keep those and if so is there a way to correctly keep a shed skin?

I usually keep the last one, or two, but throw away the older ones after a fresh shed. I only keep them in case my kid wants to show a friend or something.

I've never kept them. I just toss them out.
I've seen some on here make some art with it. Buttons I think.

They make decent bird deterrents - while they last. I save my complete sheds throughout the year so I have a good supply for fruit season.

I keep my each of my snake's first shed. I just let them dry out a bit and store them in a labeled ziplock baggie inside a Tupperware.
Kinda like a kids first lost tooth I guess.
After that I throw them away.

I throw most of them away. If one of the larger snakes has a complete shed then I may set it aside.
A guy at work wanted one to plant in the Men's Room last April 1st... Ummmm no.

Same, I usually hang onto a really good one for awhile and then toss when there's a new one. Seems like only the dumerils boa and hognose ever give me really nice ones, the rest trash them with water or poop or rip it up.
