trading spaces...good or bad?
Here's the long and short of it: Irwin is getting a bit big for his tub (imo), when i got Gimel in March i constructed a similar but somewhat larger tub. I put tiny Gimel in the bigger one assuming that, number 1, it would last longer before she needed an upgrade (its only been a year for Irwin) and, number 2, i would construct a big "forever" enclosure for Irwin this summer anyway. Now i'm second guessing myself. Gimel doesn't seem to know what to do with herself in that big tub, she just stays in the corner, and my list of summer projects is rapidly expanding and i'm not sure the snake enclosure is a realistic goal. So should i switch them? if i do that do they bot need another acclimation period? I'm not as worried bout Irwin - but Gimel it seems is still adjusting even now, i dont want to stress her out, or am i over thinking this?

I think you're over-thinking it. I would swap them, especially since she seems overwhelmed in the larger tub.

Ah-ha! it shall be done. When bcr speaks, i obey.
lol, but seriously, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people ask for advice and then dont take it, so i truly appreciate the advice and will follow through. I was totally on the fence about this, it would really be a relief to not have to do a whole project right now, but then again projects are fun despite the headaches and cost. Part of the issue is that i have a grand plan to convert a built-in book shelf into a built-in snake wall, but its a big undertaking as my basement is sorely in need of renovation (nasty wood paneling as far as the eye can see) and i always figured the snake wall would coincide since i'd have the place torn apart anyway.
