Is this scale rot on the top?

This one isn't mine, but I'm going to pick him up tomorrow. Guy said the snake kept laying on the water bowl. Scale rot?

kinda looks like a rub to me
and if he was in water bowl could be mites involved which would explain rubbing keep your eyes open and if you do get him defiantly quarantine

He's definitely going into quarentin in another room on another floor. I didn't even want him, but I figured I'd try to help it.

Do you have a close up of both the head and the back? (one of each, and only one spot on the back)

What kind of bedding do you use?

Head looks like rubbing and rubbing shows on albino pretty badly, body depending on the bedding (cypress mulch) you at time notice scratches on the snake or have debris lodging themselves under the scales, I use Coco Coir and I have some pied, albino and other light color snakes that will show dark spot on them at time and all it is is dirt under the scale, usually however it is under the ventral scales.

Scale rot is usually affecting the belly and a bit on the side too, never saw that on the back (not saying it can't happen just never saw it)
