Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Was thinking along the likes of a Het Red Pastel? Not a great Pastel gene but that could still throw a Pewter.

I suppose i could be persuaded to say she was a het red pastel but as you said not the best pastel i personaly dont see it but that could be lighting or camrea she looks very similar to my very nice het red
and if that baby just hatched still got to get his colors

OP to settle the is she pastel or not is a easy fix
pair her next season to a het red axanthic male
there is a huge difference in a hatchling het red axanthic and a pastel het red axanthic

If this helps at all from the tip of the mothers tail up to just over a foot she is extremely dark. Looks pitch black but up close in the light it she shimmers a blue/green. And the reason I thought she was a cinnamon other than she was sold as one is that her head to almost her mid section is a clone of my male cinnamon even in color. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Take a photo after he/she sheds in the best natural lighting you can get. Then maybe we can see what is what.
