Just what I was thinking. Unfortunately, Alaska is not a good place to be when you're a cold-blooded species.

Yeah, I am hoping the snake will retreat home, where it is warm. We will probably know something soon.
Speaking of this, not to get off topic but was the Ocala Cobra ever found? The updates on that disappeared almost as quickly as they came.

Nope, they never found it, and its pretty much stopped being on our local news. We've gotten a few calls at the FD with people thinking they've seen it in their yard... and we're over an hour from Ocala .

Yeaaaaah, if it ain't dead from exposure at this point, it's bear and coyote food. They haven't found that snake because something probably ate it.
