Re: The eyes dont look good to me...shed?

When I get home later tonight I'll send you guys some pics of my cinnamon! She has the same big eyes! I'm pretty sure they're just born like that! But considering the super form has so many issues it's not surprising to see cinnamons with eyes and things like this.

Yeah, I looked at the OP's pictures and the eyes seem large in all of them. I have never worked with Cinny because of the superform issue so I am not sure what is "normal" with those guys. Add scaleless to that and who knows what is going on. Would be nice to see a good head shot of your animal and do a few measurements against a normal.

Re: The eyes dont look good to me...shed?

Because there are defect in Supers does not mean there are defects with Cinnamon, this eye defect can affect any animal regardless of the mutation. It just happen.

Also doubt it is scaleless (just missing scales IMO) OP never mentionned buying a scaleless head cinny, even wonder if it was a cinny in the first post (usually those getting in scaleless projects know how to recognize a base mutation such as cinny and would not buy such a high price animal with a defect)

OP what did you buy this animal as?

Did you notice the defect upon purchase? Did the "breeder" mention the defect?

What I'm thinking is the missing scales and the eye bulge could be from an old injury if something fell or was dropped onto the snake's head. No defect required.

Nope! Your balls eyes have got me beat lol Her eyes aren't as big as your snakes but hers are still bigger than all of mine in my collection! And as for the whole eye thing being common in cinnamons I've only ever seen this in cinnamons! It's probably just a weird coincidence but I've seen some at shows with eyes the size of yours! But it's always been with cinnamons that's why I thought it might be related to the super cinny deal! But it probably isn't!

Looks a bit what they call bug eyed, besides that nothing to worry about.

You can tell when they have stuck eyecaps from the rings around the eyes, of course it's nothing to worry about BEFORE a shed

@Deborah does that not look like a scaleless head to you? I sure trust your opinion

@Deborah It was sold as scaleless head and no defect was mentioned. In fact i contacted the breeder and they said the scales missing around eyes and its little different thays why eyes are bigger and said to wait until shed over

I was hoping it was not Based on the OP'S lack of knowledge on basic morph, I would expect someone that invest that much money in a project to be able to recognize a Cinnamon and pick a PERFECT animal.
