Stand For My New T8
Very excited...
Received my T8 enclosure last Wednesday, and finally had the time to relax and actually put it together on Sunday (ashame, since I also went to White Plains Reptile Show that day and would have loved to have gotten my snake... but enclosure was not ready).
Anyways... T8 is all put together, and looking very nice. Glad I made the investment. The Quick Ship item only took 5 weeks to receive!
Now I'm looking at what to place it on. Was initially going to get a 55 gallon tank stand, and modify it... but changed my mind.
Looking at fairly cheap options, I came across Ikea's Linnmon table.

Looks very basic, simple... height is about 29" (I prefer higher, though I think I can buy different legs, adjustable height legs, and bring the height to between 35" - 42"). Anyways... my concern... Max Load on this table, as per the description, is 110 lbs. The T8 alone is about 50 lbs. And, as per Youtube reviews, some have mentioned heavy weight causing the table to slightly buckle.
Anyone think that a 110 lb Max Load might not be good? I don't think that it'd be a problem, but want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything.

On the advise of others here I use this table. It is adjustable and strong and perfectly fits your T8.

hmmm.... that looks like a solid choice. Would take a bit longer to obtain, but that hasn't stopped me with yet. Seems to have a max load of about 1000 lbs, so good on that end. I have several Lifetime tables, but the larger ones that fold up. Those seem to wobble too much when messing with it. I don't know what height you're adjusting yours to, but does it seem like its fairly sturdy? I would probably purchase that stretchable fabric covering to go over it, so as to hide the legs and make it look slick.

Mine is very sturdy. I have it adjusted to the second hole I think. I have my Carpet cage that is very heavy on top of the T8 and it's super sturdy! Never saw the cover. I was using a sheet but now I'm going to order that cover, lol!
