    Rocks in Snake tank

I'm looking to add new items in my 40g tank and suggested Dragon Rock or Maple Leaf Rock, but I'm afraid it will cut or leave scars on my snake when she's in shed anyone have an recommendations what I could use or if this is good or bad idea all together.

I had a branch in my tank and my snake loved it but little did I know leaving a wash cloth on it to keep the humidity nice caused it to have mold on it. My snake is fine now she was taken to the vet on Tuesday and being medicated but now I want something different then a branch I'm down using branches again but I was wondering if there was anything else that would be safe then I was asked what I thought about Dragon Rock

A rock should be fine as long as there are no jagged or sharp edges and it is not going to heat up too much if it's under a light or something. Natural branches in my opinion have a higher chance to have rougher and more jagged pokies than a rock that is slightly rough but rounded. I'm not super experienced and learning as I go but that makes sense to me.

Yeah I hear you there I'm still learning as well. I figured i could get the rock and use sandpaper to dull the sharp edges.

This is for a snake isn't it !?

If so , they're gonna be fine with branches surely , just about as natural as things come .... Agree about the possible sharp edges on rocks though ...
