    Classic Jungles

I was looking at some pitures today and decided that I would like to own a classic jungle one day, so I had a few questions:

How often do classic jungles hatch out of captive bred clutches? Also, I was reading on RDR's site that 'runts' have a tendency to be classic jungles. True? I think they are awesome looking animals but I rarely see them for sale. I know that it is not genetic trait, and was wondering if breeders just tend to keep the jungles that they hatch or do they sell them(what price??)?

    Re: Classic Jungles

i think in the whole time i have known about kingsnake i have only seen 2 jungles for sale and both were in the 750-1000$ range. i would love to own one myself but i think that most who own them hardly ever sell them. IMO they are rare lol. i also love them mainly because if their eyes. if i were you i would shoot an email to NERD they are bound to have some. good luck

    Re: Classic Jungles

OK, what makes a jungle, a jungle? Isn't there some type of snake (don't know if it's jungle) where the top part of their eye is light, as if the yellow stripe of their scale continues through the eye? (the coloration, not the scale of course)

I noticed after Kashmire's shed that the top half of his eye is golden and the bottom half is dark. I had taken him into the kitchen under florescent light after his shed to make sure he didn't have retained shed or retained eyecaps and noticed the lighter coloring at the top of his eyes. Or is this normal?

Classic Jungles are noticably different than normals. Here is a link on NERD's site:
