she most likely hasn't been in contact with the hottest part luckily so she should be ok. no worries man I just didn't want you to have an accident with the snake and be freaking out if she got burnt.

Ya don't want to be to be one of those new owners. I see them threads where their freaking out. I try to research and figure it out first on my own and do everything I can to never get to that point. Plus I have a lot of experiences to read and learn from.

Not much BP experience here but a 95F +/-2 floor will not burn a reptile or BP. It might not be ideal but will not 'burn' (+hopefully it thermoregulates). FYI my thermostat needs to be set at 107F (affixed to bottom of UTH) to achieve glass floor temps between 90-95F (there is some variability across the UTH). A half inch or so of substrate knocks that down 2-3F and the hot spot hide consistently maintains ~ 88-90F... so I think/hope I'm good too

Basically what I was thinking when I bumped it up. O well better safe than sorry. I'll keep checking the Temps throughout the week to see if it stabilizes. I also have coco fiber coming so maybe the temp will get through better.

Gave her a short soak tonight. Got her double head shed off too. Her colors really shine, got used to dullness there for awhile.

Even the Wife held her for the first time!

She has a dent in her, is that anything to worry about? I figured it has part of eye caps from last shed.

Looks like you got the head shed fine so there shouldn't be any problem.

Try to get the next shed out without a bath and you'll be on track. beautiful snake btw, congrats

Dented eye cap usually indicates dehydration/not enough humidity. It goes away if you bump the humidity up.

Can thank petsmart husbandry, it's been there since we brought her home. I'm sure it wasn't up to par. I've made sure to always kept it above 50%, fresh full water every couple days.

Also with the first shed (which was 2days after we got her), I waited 4-5 days before a soak/damp towel and same with this one.
