    Help! Green mark/bruise on belly

Hi everyone, I have two ball pythons and a corn snake.

Pastel - 1 1/2 years - I've had him for nearly his whole life
Normal - 5 months - only had him for a week
Amel Tessera corn snake - 1 year approx - I've had her for 5-6 weeks

This is about my corn snake, I know this is a forum for ball pythons but everyone here is always so helpful and I know people also have corns.

My corn snake Lilly has been hiding for the last few days which is out of character for her, so I assumed she was preparing to shed as this is what my pastel does.

I took her out today to bath her to help hydrate and promote a good shed. The first thing she did was take a nice big long drink.

I then bathed her and noticed a green/purple mark on her belly that looked like a bruise and I'm very concerned as I have heard that this is visible on dead snakes.

Any advice or has anyone seen this before?

    Thank you very much

Ray, can you download the Tapatalk app, pics are super easy from there. Failing that, photobucket or a similar image hosting site will give you the URL link required.

That's... not a good sign. IANA vet but my first guess would be ruptured gall bladder. Looks like bile.

In an effort to keep the forum clutter free your second thread created after the initial one was moved to the appropriate forum as been merged.

There is no need for multiple threads in different forums simply be patient, thank you.
