Urgent !! Shipping a snake from Repticon to the UK !?

I may have mentioned it already but we're on holiday in Florida and have the opportunity of going to Repticon tomorrow .......

Sooooooo. ........ If I fall madly in love with a snakey is there an affordable way of getting it back to Manchester , UK ??

Maybe having it shipped to our house or Vipers and Vines or even Reptile Room, Cleveleys , UK ?!!

    Thank you !!

I have seen some breeders that ship to the U.K. frequently offer shipping for around $1000.

It pretty much works out around $1,000 because they have to deal with both export and import cites licences etc as well as the actual shipping.

plus the actual import charges at the airports involved.

    Thanks bud ..

I thought I'd read somewhere that snakes could be sent to Reptile Room Cleveleys and by-pass all the hassle as they're all set up for importing ...

I've decided not to go after all as there's a chance I'd see something wonderful at an affordable price but wouldn't be able to afford the shipping ..... plus the snake would then "dominate" the rest of the vacation in my mind ....

    Thanks guys !!

It's not a completely lost cause - several shops have similar deals with the bigger American breeders.

I think crystal palace reptiles has a similar arrangement with NERD for example. So it's worth asking as the surcharge on the animal might well be affordable if it was part of a larger import package.

You should have gone... i don't remember what the morph was but there was a paradox baby there. Had to chase my kids and forgot to go back and see it.
