Really like that first pic. She's going to be a pretty adult.

Re: Goldie Progression (Hypo Pastel Enchi Female)
Successfully switched her to rat tonight! She was a tad apprehensive but is clearly an enthusiastic feeder. After striking her head and rat ended up submerged in her bowl. I watched, waited, and then reached in and took her out. She dropped the rat and looked at me like I was the hand of god. I distracted her, grabbed the wet rat, reheated it, and she nailed it a second time!
Down the hatch it went. Excited that she took to rat so quickly. She has been eating multiple hoppers at a time and still seems hungry. I suspect my Goldie will be a big girl if the appetite continues. But it's only been 2 months!

Thanks all! She's a great girl. Pretty sure she's heading into shed. A quick photo from last week!

Age is a beautiful combo for sure!
for future reference, once she strikes her food, just leave her to eat it unless she lets go on her own and is completely ignoring it, then she may not take it again anyway. But my point is, it's not worth potentially stressing her at feeding time and causeing her to have any unwanted feeding issues, you can just let her figure it out. The water dish is no issue at all. I've actually had mine eat under water before. They will figure it out but if you intervene you can do more harm than good.
Good luck with your new little girl. It looks like your doing a great job with her so far.

Re: Goldie Progression (Hypo Pastel Enchi Female)
Thanks! The poor girl is brutally deep in shed. She is a no question, screamingly obvious shedder. She looks like someone spray painted her with watered down elmers glue. She hides all day and night versus her normal evening hunting jaunt. Helps to have the camera on her 24x7 to watch. I put it there to temporarily monitor her but I'll tell you what. It's been invaluable to learn! Both learning my girl and watching temp and humidity.
