Rack help/ suggestions
Hey all, i recently got a 5 tier wire shelf ( adjustable shelf heights, overall 72" tall x 48" wide x 24" deep) similar to this
. I was thinking about using it for a snake rack, but am having a little trouble in my research. I was originally planning on using heat cable zip tied to the shelves and set to a thermostat as a heat source, but the overall consensus seems to be that heat cable is not reliable and tends to be faulty. Has anyone used this set up before? Howd it work out for you? I was also considering (if heat cable was a no go) fastening some type of thin plastic sheeting to the top and bottom of each shelf in order to use flexwatt for heating. Would anyone have any suggestions as to what exactly i could use for this?
Again i got the shelving for free so i'm trying to make this set up as inexspensive as possible.
This is the video that initially gave me the idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Lnu_pHIpI , but it seems most people stick to melamine or other shelving. I was just hoping to see if anybody had any success with these things, i was pretty stoked when work let me have it for free.

You can put down fiber board to tape your heat tape to.
There is also no need to post identical posts give people some time to answer.....
