    I'm just trying to see if I got an accurate reading it's been almost 40 hours since they fed.

    no. still your BP just fed. that is unless it has digested that meal and voided it's bowels within that 40hours. it's best to weigh your BP after it poops.

    Edit: think of it as the empty weight.

    Wait until they shed. Might skip a meal depending on the timing, and then they take a nice BIG dump usually. Perfect time to get a truly "empty" weight.
