    They look a little overwhelmed!!!

    Ha....I was doing a little cleaning and decided to snap a few pics. I feel so sorry for these moms. But at least I know they are good producers. I counted about 17 babies in the enclosure (mom is on top of some in the pics). Just thought I would share





    BTW...if anyone from north louisiana is looking for some mice....let me know...this is only about 1/3 of the babies I have from the past two weeks

    I use carefresh bedding. I get the really big bag from petco for around $20 and it lasts about 3.5 weeks. When my moms start to 'golfball', i put a bunch of strips of newspaper in the enclosure so that they have something to build a nest out of. Also, I use old boxes from around the house as hides....so I can just throw them out after they have been used for a week or two...the one in the pic was a snack bar box...ha ha.

    Wow! Looks like you have some genetic relatives of the "Explode-A-Mice" that my friend breeds! It looks like they swallowed tennis balls when they're preggo, right?
