    New BP

I have 2 ball pythons. One is a female and she is about four months old and I have only had her for about 2 months and for some reason I don't remember how she reacted when coming into her knew home. All I know is that she ate the first week which was a good sign. My new ball python is about half the age of my other one and I do not know its gender yet. However she is very active and moving around the tank (kind of acting like she wants to escape, sliding up the side, running her head along the screen and stuff like that) is that normal? Just trying to get used to her knew home or??? Also the petstore told me they were feeding her( im calling her a her for lack of a better word even though i do not know her gender)anyways should i keep feeding her every other day? I know my slightly older snake i just feed once a week. would feeding her once a week be fine?

Standard advice is to leave well alone for a week to acclimate then after that period feed one appropriately sized item (I found this thread useful to figure that out https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-Feeding-Chart) every 5-7 days, for a hatchling.
If she's constantly cruising as if looking for an escape something might be not to her liking about her tank- check the temperatures and humidity are right and make sure the hides are an appropriate size (and that there is an identical one for each side of the tank)? My boy was a lot happier after I downsized his hides- I ordered online and got a smaller snake than I was expecting, being a newbie to the hobby so the hides I had were too spacious, they like it all snug.
