    I love them, grabbed 8 of them when There was a sale for $16.99 lol. I put the probe under my substrate on Hot side and mount the Head Unit on Cool side and that tells ambient cool and also displays humidity.

    Quite a few people use this thermometer for keeping tabs on temps inside their egg tubs. If that doesn't speak well it, I'm not sure what else would.

    Well that is something I wouldn't know about as I only have display enclosures and never needed only one temp displayed. I also use a surface laser but love the convenance of the all in one display on the Acurite. Thank you for the info I will remember that incase i need one in the future for my Rats ect... Cheers
