Well looks like Gina is going into shed as she was being antisocial which isnt like her. So i lifted her hide and she was curled up in it in blue. So fresh Gina pics coming soon It's true about BCC being slow growers. Gina has shed for me 2 or 3 times in almost a year. She has filled out but still just a wee little girl.

Re: Gina the Rio Bravo Pokigron Suriname progression thread

She really is outstanding sauzo that’s for sure , her markings and that tail colour is just so cool,
I’m glad I don’t live over there I would have so many.
there not easily available over here, the ones I have seen have not been the best ,seem to mainly dark not the bright red ones with the great pink sides and deep bat like saddles, I really am jealous ,lol
Still keep the pics coming tho

Thanks. Yeah Gina's sides have been getting nice and pink. Cant wait to see her after shed. It's like unwrapping a Christmas present. My BCL and GTP though will be the big lookers as they age. They go through dramatic color changes.

Well Gina shed about a week ago but i have been busy with Pat and making sure his intake/output system is working good as GTPs are prone to prolapse. Well, i think i'm clear as I've had him a month now and he has had 8-9 meals with me and is eating, pooping, peeing and causing trouble like a healthy baby snake.

Anyways. back to Gina. I had her out for some play time and she wasnt being very cooperative with pics so only snapped a couple as she was more concerned about exploring. She is getting so big! She's pushing the 2 foot barrier now at 1.5 years old lol.

And look at those little eyelashes on her!! I love them.

Well, since it's been so dry here from being cold and the heater running, i decided to put the poor parlor palm into Gina's cage for some humidity as it was looking pretty rough. Gina seems to like her new room mate and immediately decided to bond with it. Here is Gina bonding with the parlor palm. I just hope she doesnt try and climb on it lol.

And dang, that one plant keeps the humidity in her cage pretty good. Maybe I'll pick up a little live plant and throw it in a pot for all the baby snakes. The big ones would just bulldoze those poor plants.

Well, judging by the welcome Gina gave to her plant, i went out bought everyone a plant and pots and everything. I switched Gina to a little more 'strong' plant. Got her a Pothos. Here she is enjoying her new Pothos.

And here is the little one's cages with a plant to play with.

Lol yeah, Dottie and Luna lost 'plant privileges'. Liuna tried to dig her plant up and Dottie sat on it and pretty much smothered it lol. I gave them both to Gina.
