Don't try to start them too early - 12 weeks is when I have had my best luck. I have 3 groups of 4 females and 2 males. Boy goes in a bin of 4 girls for 2 weeks, then he comes out and each girl goes in a bin. Babies get pulled at 3-4 weeks, moms get a 3 week break before breeding again.
This girl that had 23 is a year old. I was going to feed her off, but I think I am gonna wait!

Mine aren't terrible for smell, unless it is a bin of boys - they are terrible! :-)
My boys are also getting over 35g by 8-10 weeks of age. Biggest adult male I have had so far has been 44g at about 4 months old.
