Re: Corny, my adopted corn snake

Just curious - what the main difference as far as care requirements between a corn snake and a honduran milksnake??

Also, what draws people to corns vs. hondurans??

LOL- yeah I was just joking T. My point is they grow really fast . One day you're feeding mice fuzzys and before long it's large rats. My Olive python is a perfect example. I got him in early January and he was eating itty bitty rat pups. A few days ago he ate his first medium rat and it barely left a bump.

i'm really happy to get him on the right track! they really do grow fast...one random day you look at them and actually realize it. that olive python of yours is gorgeous, can't believe he's that big already! hope to see more pics soon!

i am, too. i'm so glad i took him in; he's such a character. i actually got to meet the kids of the family i adopted him from this past weekend; they were sweet. i guess the littlest one cried the whole night when they brought him to me. they're too young to really take the responsibility, and the mom has 4 boys; she decided she couldn't properly care for him anymore. that's where i came in!!!
