It was Gimel and Irwin's anniversary on the 7th (coincidentally they both arrived on March 7 one year apart) . here is a sloppy composite of her the day i unboxed her and last week (sorry for color issue, different room different light, etc)

Check out Irwin's progression thread for his before/after shot

OK, I gave her about 8 weeks and she gave me about 3 inches. Not terrible, thought honestly i expected a bit more considering i just upped her prey size. But then again, maybe i'm getting spoiled by Dr. Waffle's rapid growth, and i notice my boas always do most of their growing in the summer so the next 8 weeks may be more productive. On a more disgusting note, she also held onto a 6 week 3 rat poop until just the other day... my god. I was seriously starting to wonder if i had some serious miscalculation in my feeding regimen by how chubby she was, but it was only the last 1/4 of her that was chubby, and 3 rats... well, i posted a pic below but its not for the faint of heart, LOL!

Dang, thats a huge turd lol.

And be glad your boas are even growing. I think Gina has boycotted growing. I switched to weaned rats and she hasnt seem to grown at all, still about 3 feet. Rango and Louie are shedding and growing like crazy. BCC grow slower than paint drying in a rain storm.

Well i measured at 4 weeks instead of 8 b/c she just shed. Consistent with the above measurement, she put on 1.5 inches so now coming in at 3 foot 8.5 inches, so tiny!

OK, 8 weeks later and about 2.5 to 3 inches longer - 3' 11" - so agonizingly close to 4 feet!
