Spaz is the tri color beagle that belongs to my son... and the red/white dog in the picture is Spaz's sister (my brothers dog) from the same litter, along with Zeus. As you can see, at 8 weeks, he is almost bigger than Spaz at almost 8 months.

That is one adorable puppy you have there, and it's super nice of your husband. Just because gifts rock. I love the name too. It just seems to fit him.
Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand
I cant wait till his ears start to stand up, his breeder said they should start to stand around 2-4 months. His Mom and Dad were beautiful. Both over 100 lbs. They also have his big brother there (Sampson), who is 8 months old and weighs in at 92 lbs. now.

He's a lovely puppy! I never owned a shepard myself until my husband insisted that is what we must have (all he's ever owned). We love our big guy! He tops out at 98 lbs, and can have some separation anxiety at times, but he is super patient with our babies (aged 3 and 1) and very devoted. Good luck with him and definately take some pictures during his awkard ear flopping stage (they look so goofy with one ear up and one leaning!).
