    Genetic Belly Patterns

are there morphs with genetic belly patterns? i know YB belly sides, but is here anything more? what about the flat of the belly? everyone goes crazy over BP patterns, colors, dorsals and heads. why can't BP bellies be the next big thing?

i took out one of my BP's this morning before work for some belly shots. it's overcast and kinda stormy, the lights are on and i'm using my phone, but u can still see some of the golden colors she has on the belly.

    RIP Mamba

You know, I have been wondering kind of the same thing. All my enchi's have interesting belly markings. I have a normal who's belly is insane. One of the reasons i bought her was I had never seen anything quite like it.

Black belly, yb complex, spotnose are the only ones i can think of that have any semblance of a genetic belly pattern.

Thank you Ax for bringing it up and 7 for the info. Didn't even know there was such a thing as a Black Belly. I'm thinking that there is a good possibility my normal may be that. Sure looks like it. I've been talking crap to my wife about that snakes belly for a year. I may win the discussion yet. Time to do a little more research on "Black Belly".

I have never seen a healed belly burn. Do they really look like that? It could be possible with my girl. I got her as an adult and she had not been well taken care of.

i don't wanna post (graphic) pix but the difference would be actual damage scales on a burned and healed BP. often the belly scales are split, tattered and there's dark scarring where the belly was in contact with an unregualted heat source. the Black Belly's belly looks kinda like light scaring in color and shape but the belly scales are immaculate or looks to have never been harmed.

Black bellies are a newer morph floating around. It's combination with pastel (yellow jacket I believe) looks really nice

Yeah, the yellow jacket looks nice. Hopefully this girl proves out but what actually comes out is going to be interesting. She was paired with a highway this year. The highway has some missing scales on his head so we know what I am dreaming about on this one. All of it will probably turn out to be nothing but it is a lot of fun thinking about the possibilities. If anyone has any more information on the Black Belly please let me know. All I can find so far is that they were originally produced by Outback but they are not working with it any more???. Also found a couple very expensive combos with it in it but no real details.

This is a picture of her from about six months ago not too long after I got her. She looks a lot better now. I need to get a belly shot.

Looks normal to me but you never know until you breed them
