Possible paring

So I was thinking about getting this black pewter calico girl to in the future breed with my banana honey bee male. I liked all the possibilities it could produce, especially adding the high white sides from the calico. Is this a good paring , opinions.

A good pairing is what you yourself want to produce. So if you like everything that this pairing can make then yes it is a good pairing

If YOU like it then it's a good pairing, if you don't then it's not.

YOU are the one that will hatch those babies and that will possibly raise them for years to come, no one else.


My personal opinion (and it really does not matter since those at about YOUR snakes) I am not a fan of black bee or pewter bee, they are muddy and the least attractive spider combos IMO

If it was me and again it's not about me I would go with animals that lighten up and reduce pattern but again it's my preference (the great thing about BP is that there is something for everyone and their taste)

Anyway for me that would be Enchi Fire, Enchi Lesser, Fire Lesser even any of those with calico in them, something along those lines that get variety and nice coloration.

At the very least I would pair with something that's het orange ghost to take advantage of the sire's recessive gene. Lesser, fire, enchi, and calico would be fun co-dom genes in that mix.

these were the other two I had my eye on and I was actually leaning toward the calico lesser pastel even though it was a bit more expensive.
though I like the yellow belly gene.

I like those.

Again think about the possibilities and what YOU want to produce, some people like darker snakes some like lighter, there are so many possibilities out there just need to find the right one for you.
