    Intersting info.

I've seen this before, and maybe it has been linked here in the past.

I'm trying to find which head shape and scalation pattern best represents what Wallace has.

I'm a little confused that they list the group from "right to left" instead of left to right. (black and white drawings)

However in the boxed in area above the drawings they list (top to bottom) which seems would be a "left to right" reading if you were looking at the heads drawn below.

    http://reticulatedpython.info/h4.html

This is a very young version of Wallace but his head seems most like a combo of the 2 heads on the right.

You need to blow up the photo a bit to see better but I'm not expecting a total match to any of those heads. I'm dealing with large percentages of SD Dwarf and a much smaller 18% of mainland.

See where your snake fits in.

Gene is 25%SD & 25%Jamp, I can see where he fall on the chart. I've never seen a comparison like that before, pretty neat.

Both Gene and Wallace have 3 plates between the eyes but below those 3 Wallace's scale pattern becomes a bit more busy.

    Great shot of Gene BTW.

Hmm interesting. Can't wait to take a good look at Levi's head when I get home. He was sold to me as a mainland but I didn't get him directly from a breeder so it'd be nice to know

I've seen this before as well and still can't figure out exactly where I think Phyllis or now Gerald's head scales match. They most closely resemble Python Reticulatus Reticulatus from what I can tell.
These drawings are also 15 years old or so now and only cover three different sub species. And to the best of my knowledge none of the super dwarf locales have been scientifically identified as being separate sub species yet.
This is another scale count/variation drawing comparison that I've looked at. By no means a scientific analysis but an interesting comparison nonetheless

I I've seen that one too. I am not sure the labeling is correct on the one I posted. I'm not sure why they say from right to left.

But the order is different in the top box. I'm not sure if it is also corresponding with the drawings or not.

Wallace looks nothing at all like the left drawing. Scalation and head shape are completely different.

Caesar definitely fits into the 2 on the right, probably more the center one. Kind of hard to see though as his so light in color.

You could also just email Kris and ask what SD and dwarf the parents were. I would imagine he would have that info as a breeder.
