As above plus as soon as his eyes clear up and he gets a bit of colour back that's the 'sign' to really ensure the humidity is up to parr ... I'd spray a couple of times each day as soon as his eyes clear , then he's virtually guaranteed a good clean shed anywhere between a two to seven days after that 'sign' .

Re: The time has come ...
I got a one of the bigger humidifiers from home depot for like 20 and it holds at least a gallon so i only have to fill it once a week or so. its done wonders for my humidity when i coupled it with covering most of the top screen with foil. I'm a newbie but thats whats worked for me so far.

Re: The time has come ...
Guys, gonna be a compete know nothing here, his eyes have gone a little more cloudy today and his body looks like someone's dusted him with talc he's really bland and off colour, which I hear is normal, but what I am bit worried about he has been in his hide ( warm side) for at least 2 days now, if he has been out at night I would have missed it cause he's in his own room ( my baby needs his own room) should I expect this with the in ' blue' process? His first shed with me was awful, due to the conditions I received him in I think and he was a little more active the first time round so I'm just a bit worried he's not happy, any help would be greatly received

If he is hiding he is "happy".

Relax
All going exactly to plan !
He will no doubt keep out of sight for a little while ...... next thing is you'll wake up and his colour will be back to normal and eyes nice and clear .... but he won't actually shed for a few days after this !!
As soon as he's eyes clear and he colours back up you should start or increase the humidity by spraying the viv a few times each day . This will normally ensure a lovely clean shed . Of course if you're completely on top of the humidity and it at the right level for shedding that's fine ...

Thank you 👍 have got extra water bowl in there at the minute and spraying a couple times a day minimum, gonna look at changing to orchid bark on next clean as I'm using aspen but I just find it so damn dry, hopefully that will help with humidity too, praying to the serpent gods this shed goes nicely lol

When my girl is in shed she only leaves her hide to eat. Other than that she is in there 24/7 for pretty much the entire shed process. Nothing to worry about.
