    Jaguar question (quick response appreciated)

Is f10 safe for use on their enclosures? I know chemicals like permethrim(PAM) can trigger their Neuro issues. What would be the best way to clean an enclosure and treat for mites? (Preventative treatment before quarantine)

I believe F10 would be safe, but I haven't used it. I do use chlorhexadine and have not had any issues with the jags.

I think properly used PAM will not cause problems. I haven't heard of this and have used it with jags without issue. I'm interested to see what others have experienced.

A assume your talking about your Carpet? Im only familiar with Burms, Retics & Balls, but yes you spray and wipe. You dont have to rinse the F10sc off but ive never heard of it used for mites...

Thank you very much for the response. I was hoping to hear from someone who has experience with jags!

Thank you and yes I'm talking about a carpet python. I'm familiar with f10sc and use it for all my snakes. But I have no experience with Jaguar carpets and just wanted to see what other experienced jag keepers have been using.

I wasn't going to use the f10 to treat mites. However I do treat any new Snakes I bring home just to be safe. I should have made it more clear in the original post. I would like recommendations on treatments others have used on their jags. Like I said I've never kept a Jag before and I would like to do everything possible to prevent any Neuro issues
