    1st shed...good but not perfect...hmmm

last friday i noticed my bps eyes milky blue and i adjusted her humdity from 60 % to 70 - 80%. its been wicked hot and humid here lately and i had a hard time keeping it down around 70. anyway, i wasnt really worried about having it a little to humid anyway. i also made a humid hide which i never once seen her in so i figured my humidity was alright. this morning i woke up and she had shed, but not like i had hoped. probably only 70% wa sin one piece. oh well, but there was still a bit on her tial which and i used warm water and slowly rubbed off. now there are still a few little flakes on her head, and a number of flakes along her body. well i think they are flakes because they are dull spots about the same size of a scale. i have to go to work now but when i get home later should i try soaking her in warm water, or a warm damp towel to try and get the access off or just leave.
also, if she had not shed her eye caps, would the whole suface of her eyes be covered? they look fine except for on eye that has a very small cloudy spot just around the top part of the eye.

It sounds like a good soak would be a good idea, it definitely won't hurt. Shedding in one piece isn't really a big deal, as long as it all comes off. I wouldn't worry about this first shed. Just get as much of the shed off, and try again next time.

well i gave my bp a 45 min soak in warm water. didnt seem to help at all. it really doesnt look like its dead skin that was left over. is there any way that scales will come off with the dead skin? or is there anything else it could be?

Maybe post a pic. That might help. Don't stress too much wait until after the next shed and see how things look then. If you're overly concerned then you can always take a trip to the vet.
