Since you're just interested in looks and not locality, I'd just browse breeders with designer GTP and find a snake that you like. The one you posted has a lot of blue, and if genetic, the price is a lot higher. It just depends on how flexible you are with the blue look LOL. If you're okay with less blue, there are a ton out there to browse through.

I'd join the Green Tree Python fb groups to look for breeder recs or snakes for sale.

God dang it, I always seem to adore the most expensive ones That calico is amazing though.

Vin Russo and Joel Diaz don't work with GTPs. They are pure blood locality BCC as well as morph BCI. Was just using them as examples for BCC. For A GTP, I would talk to Ryan Burke at Clockwork Reptiles or Harlin Wall. Clockwork has some pure blue females. Also can ask Southern Chondros or TK Chondros if they have anything planned. I know Southern Chondros had a pure blue female they were breeding. Just be prepared for sticker shock There was also one other guy that did a lot of work with them but I cant remember his name lol. I kind of quit looking for one and went back to boas and got Caesar the retic so have gone back that direction.

Green tree pythons are really cool, I just love the colors. But I can't get past their aggressiveness and willingness to bite, I've never seen a tame one. And I hear they have one of the worst bites of all snakes having the longest teeth. Still a cool snake though!

I've actually seen some really tame ones but yeah for the most part, they do have the reputation of being biters. I was told if you plan to handle them, do it in the day. At night, they turn into monsters and will attack anything with a heat signature lol.

I think you're thinking of Emerald Tree Boas (the ones with the longest teeth LOL), and have a bad rep... But most of the bad rep is from wild caught/farm bred animals, so it's understandable. For both GTP and ETB, if you get USCBB, they're all generally pretty tame. Not in a "handle every other day" kind of way, but they're sweet display snakes. Much easier snakes than wild caught, in every way!

But yeah even with CBB, 0/10 would not recommend handling once it's dark out LOL. Everything warm is food and they don't really snap out of it like balls do.

Sorry I stand corrected. Vin Russo is breeding GTPs. You can ask what he has coming up.
