breeding mice at this limit of snakes or not ?
as of now I only have 1 corn snake but im planning on getting 5 more snakes and was wondering would it be a good idea to start breeding my own mice
at this limit of snakes ?

I don't have the energy, time, space, or patience to breed my own feeders. I have 8 snakes and f/t is the ultimate way to go imo.

It really depends on what you want to do. If you don't mind the smell mice can put off and handling them constantly and you have the space, I'd say go for it. With just 6 snakes you don't need to, but you can if you want. At the same time a lot of people have just as much success with a deep freezer and buying f/t in bulk.

If you don't want to have to keep up with them you could find a good supplier locally and invest in a small freezer. I get my rats cheaper than buying online and I don't have to pay or wait for shipping. But if you don't mind you could start a small colony and keep them on a slower breeding rotation.
