What's this on my BP's eye?

The other eye has it as well but its more of a wrinkling than a skin like in the photo below.

I think it's a retained eyecap. Try raising your internal humidity percentage in the enclosure permanently.

I googled that and it looks similar to a picture that said it's not to be confused with a retained eye cap.

I've misted his hot side so hopefully it'll cheer up a bit

The eye caps have a tendency to get a bit wrinkled when humidity is low... Raising it will solve the problem either way.

A lot of my rescues have had retained eye caps. I get a Rubbermaid tub they fit in with a little room and place wet spagnum moss and warm water in the bottom, put them in, and put on the lid. As condensation builds, they rub their face against the side, which moistens the eye cap, allowing them to rub it off by themselves. Works like a charm every time. It's also how I deal with stuck sheds on my rescues.
