    A day in the sun...

I took Emily out for real sun light this afternoon, she loved it! The 2nd pic is Emily when she fired up cause a bird flew over and landed on our patio railing.... naturally, I had to shoo it away so she did not feel she was gonna be eaten.

Glad to hear Emily enjoyed her outing. I know I usually enjoy it myself. Nice pics too! How's she doing for you?

My younger brother is a young up and comming Beardie breeder (just had his first clucth laid last week). He would go wild over the colors represented by yours, nice pictures, good looking Beardie. Just a quick question does your Beardie wave? My brother was telling me that only the females wave and I was just wondering if there was any truth to that.

Forrest, Emily only waved the first few days or so after we brought her home. SInce then she has not.

Tigerlily, Emily is doing great! Unfortunately, a few days ago her sister Bindi died. She died due to genetic issues caused by inbreeding by her breeder. So far Emily is growing well, and eats like a mini pig... eventually I will be breeding her to the right male..just got to find him.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Bindi. I was thinking about her too when I wrote my last post. I know she was never in the best of health, but it's terribly sad to hear of your loss.

Good luck on finding that perfect man for Emily!!

Re: A day in the sun...

Thanks for your condolences all. We miss Bindi so much already and it has only been a few days. My poor daughter is still heart broken and cries about it still. Bindi was her "dragon princess".

We cant wait till Emily grows up, we think she is gonna be a real eye stunner. Her colors get incredibly better with each shed, she has a sweet personality. However, she is a "Momma's Girl" , always clinging to me given the chance, and will often leap off of anyone else here just to get to me.

That's so sweet. Those animals are always more special. I'm so glad you have her to offset some of the pain over losing Bindi. Hopefully she'll have some nice babies and your daughter will be able to find another dragon princess. It's always heartbreaking to be unable to ease your child's pain. I hope she bounces back soon!
