    Anyone Try NPI Cages?

I was looking at some of the cages from NPI cages. I was looking at their new 48" stackable cages. They haven't listed on their website yet, saw it on EBay and on their Facebook page. The dimensions inside are approximately 47.187" wide, 17.50" high, and 16.25" deep. Tried to search on here to see if anyone has used them before but didn't see any hits.

    Thanks Scott....

Meh, the 16" depth turns me off and all those angles and the screens turns me off even more. Would just add more work to cleaning and trying to maintain humidity in it. nice open front though with the reinforcement for the top.

At one point I had close to a dozen plus of their enclosures for a large boa collection. I felt they were excellent quality, and also excellent for humidity. They also make great hides. I highly recommend them.

I have 6 of their 36" cages, in 2 stacks of 3. I love the size, the way they hold heat and humidity, and the long light in the top. However, the tracks get blocked with my substrate.(They should put in dams to prevent that.)The holes for the pegs that keep the sliding glass doors blocked on 2 of the cages don't line up properly (I don't care because I cut down wooden yard sticks, spray painted them black, and lay them in the tracks...very secure and nicer looking than the pins imo.) and they are not cheap. I also have 4 boaphile 421d cages that are superb, flexwatt, heat panels, I just wish they had interior lighting.

A 3 pack of the 36" black stackable NPI's http://npicages.cim are $510, lights are an additional $57, shipping estimate is $150. Heat is diy and I have Zilla UTH's that I bought from http://horse lovers.com very cheaply.
My 4 - 421d's I bought used and took a road trip to pick them up.

If you buy 2, they are $190 each, $40 shipping each. Lights are $19 each if bought with a cage and shipping is $9.

    Re: Anyone Try NPI Cages?

I purchased 3 NPI stackable cages and discovered a manufacturing flaw when a young python got out and lost about 6 months after my purchase. I contacted the company about getting a replacement cage as it was a manufacturing defect causing the glass doors to be out of proper sink enough for this snake to get through, (I had noticed that this one unit was a lil more loose but had not purchased from them before and it was a pain to send back if it was within error), unfortunately I have discovered after taking it apart and looking closely, (due to the snake escape), that it is an unfixable manufacturing defect causing too much space at the top of the doors. I called and talked with NPI and they simply said too bad too late. I was requesting a replacement due to manufacturing error and also advising them of this possible problem in other cages. I will never buy from them again and am appalled that they do not care about their reputation or product enough to replace something they did not produce correctly and failed to catch and shipped to a customer.
