    Feeding

These 2 are brothers. Enchi and butter. As you can see the enchi is bigger than the butter. Have had them since August. I feed live once a week. The enchi has an appetite. The butter, on the other hand, eats twice a month. Is this normal? Both are cage mates. I feed them both in separate tubs.

Yes and no. Snakes eat and grow at different rates. However, in this case, it is likely that the larger snake has established dominance over the smaller. Thus, the smaller is stressed. Which can lead to loss of appetite. You need to separate them. BPs should not be housed together.

    Re: Feeding

I agree. Im in the process of building a new rack. Living on a budget sucks. I have 3 tubs at the moment with cage mates. They all eat on a regular basis. The butter being a baby while others are adults, has me concerned a little. When I purchased them the butter already had a strange appetite.

As said they all grow at different rates and the stress may not be helping.

I have tub mates too and there is only ONE correct way to do it.
I ordered a bunch of these for "just in case" moments.......
