    Avalanche!!

this is my new Avalanche Snow Corn Snake. he's such a teeny, tiny noodle. so cute, so cool looking. he was born on Thanksgiving eve, so about a month ago. he has no name yet, but will be named after food or snacks like all my colubrids lol.

he lives in a 6 quart tub, which is huge for such a lil BB. got him over the weekend and gonna attempt to feed it a f/t pinkie.

i put the pinkie in it's face. he sniffed it, but didn't bite. so it left it in the tub.

    yay he found it's prey.

he didn't eat. instead, he went into hiding.

so i put him in a deli cup with the pinkie.

i came back later and OMG, he ate it. i'm still amazed that suck a skinny lil noodle was able to swallow something that was 3-4 times it's size or more. crazy!

awesome lil guy. can't wait for him to put on size.
    RIP Mamba

    He's gorgeous!!

I've always thought about getting a corn snake, but they're just too small. Nobody near me is selling a grown corn snake and I like raising my animals up anyways.

I swear everytime I go into my local petstore and look at the snakes, I look at the baby cornsnakes and go in my head 'its so tinyyy...what if he accidentally got crushed somehow...yeah better just let him stay here'

i totally know what u mean lol. tiny lil worms can get stepped on and crushed lol. but they're hardy lil beasts. my biggest concern would be getting a baby to eat. so make sure u get an established eater. once they get going, u don't even have to warm up the frozen-thawed prey. i can stick it in their face and they will snatch it. or i can leave it lying around the enclosure, the Corn will seek it out and eat it.

check out Corns at a local reptile show, u can meet the breeder, ask questions, etc. also Morph Market now even has a Corn Snake section. Check it out - http://www.morphmarket.com/c/reptile...rn-snakes/home

good luck! post pix of your Corn when u get one.

Congrats! I recently picked up a 2016 male coral snow stripe at an expo. After having balls and boas I had forgotten how tiny baby corns are.
